RESULTS IN 2008
Objective 1.Elaborarea new crop technologies that take into account the variety, environmental resources and requirements of sustainable viticulture;
Objective 2.Sequential technologies applied in crop growing areas of reference
Objective 3. Comparative analysis of existing technology and new models proposed for identifying sequences with positive and negative aspects of production and quality.
A growing business performance is possible if one takes into account the ecological resources of each area, the characteristics of varieties agrobiological and growing need for appropriate technologies. The great diversity in soil and climate that makes it impossible to grow vines growing developing technology type, universal. Culture technologies to be applied differently from one area to another or even from one plot to another in close agreement with natural conditions, variety cultivated, purpose and range of production machines provided. For these reasons must be sought each element of the technology culture, every link to maximize its technology, so that through optimization of all factors to obtain the expected results in terms of economic efficiency.
Ground maintenance in vineyards requires annual passage of large numbers of tractors and agricultural machinery. In a soil moisture too high or too low, crossing the aggregate agricultural traits may have negative influence on physico-chemical properties of soil. Soil-growing vines are generally low natural soil fertility, cultivation of most crops considered unfit. If we add to this great grape production + secondary biomass (strings, leaves) which is produced annually in vineyards, resulting need for land restitution of organic matter exported annually.
The vast majority of farms growing a variety of reasons (lack of financial resources, lack of employment, etc..) Operation is not practical and they work in green limited to no more than one wire trellis shoots directing and linking them from place to place. To show the importance of green business and operations in the areas of reference, we organized the experimental plots. By analyzing the results is evident positive influence of green business and operations in both the production and the quality.
Logging is another important technological sequence that performed so poorly has negative influence on production and quality of life and economic exploitation of the hub.
Technology culture must take account of the biological concept of increasing current viticulture so to minimize the possible adverse impact on soil and environment. In culture systems technologies for soil maintenance, works and operations in green and cutting systems are sequences technological impact on the quantitative and qualitative. The high cost of fuel and physicochemical characteristics of soils growing imposed finding alternatives to traditional maintenance system. In terms of western Romania and climatic conditions for years with different profiles, the best results were obtained by using green manure crops. In recent years as manure organic fertilizer is becoming harder to find, transported and managed, growing of green manure is a viable solution for organic fertilization of soil, which also respects the principles of organic viticulture increasingly more current. Where climatic conditions lately are constantly changing, it is very important as culture technologies are continuously correlated with changes in these conditions but also taking into account the biological requirements of varieties and production destination.
